Is Cristiano Ronaldo the finish article yet?
Love him or hate him, Cristiano Ronaldo’s performance this season has been a revelation. Already 16 goals to his name, nearly 160 shots and about 70 shots on goal, Ronaldo, much famed for his exaggerate ’step-overs’, has certainly improved his game this season.
Extremely skillful, but always frustrating in his final ball, Ronaldo is actually a carbon copy of Ryan Giggs, in his early days.
Like Giggs, Ronaldo combines his direct running with superb close ball control that left even the world best defenders dumbfounded. Many of them, as what Jonathan Woodgate has experienced, is that Ronaldo’s nature of play always invites tackles. (Ronaldo was fouled 75 times this season, one of the highest !)
However, this season, Ronaldo has improved this aspect of the game. His final ball has been decisive, his dribbling is at the right place and he is scoring goals for fun.
Already a strong candidate for PFA and Football Witers’ Association awards for Player of the Year, some would even dare to say that Ronaldo is the leading candidate for FIFA’s Player of the Year, an idea that Middlesbrough may strongly disagree, how about you?

commendable effort made by natural individual (but still smell red devil fans lor) with interesting review for each player. Ronaldo is great player but if he could dive less will make him even greater player..

Yep, Ronaldo is of different level this term. He’s more a team player with extra added skills. Though often fouled by opponent, he seldom got himself into trouble like Roo did.
