Where is he now?
Vinnie Jones
He has appeared in movies such Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Gone in 60 Seconds, Swordfish and the most recent, as Juggernaut in X-Men : The Last Stand.
Vincent Peter Jones or Vinnie Jones is a successful actor, famous for his scary and aggresive style of acting and very intimidating demeanour, but many will remember him as one of the most colourful footballer in English Premier League.
He started his football career in non-league Wealdstone in 1984 before moving to Wimbeldon in 1986. He was part of the ‘Crazy Gang’ team that won the FA Cup in 1988, arguably the club greatest achievement. He subsequently played for Leeds United, Sheffield United, Whitton United and Chelsea, before moving back to Wimbeldon in 1992. In 1998, he briefly became the coach/player for QPR but then announced his retirement after was overlooked for the vacant manager post.
While a footballer, he quickly became infamous for his brutal hard man image, which frequently bought much criticism to his style of play. He was sent off 12 times in his career, and was once booked after only 3 seconds of play. In one notorious incident, he grabbed Paul Gascoigne testicles, and in another match, he ended the career of Tottenham defender Gary Stevens with a vicious tackle.
Now, he is a successful actor and in 2007, it is reported that he will share top billing with Stone Cold Steve Austin in the new WWE Films production, The Condemned.
