Will we ever see the old Ronaldinho?
The news of the day is that Ronaldinho has agreed initial terms with AC Milan and may joint the Serie A club next season. Sorry Manchester City, I guess that rumour is more fiction that fact.
Still, the move has long been mooted after the Brazilian has had a difficult few months at Nou Camp because of injury and loss of form. And while his tricks and skills have drained out this season, many will still remember the goal against Chelsea a few years back and how his almost impossible tricks are a trademark of his style of play.
So, will we ever see the old Ronaldinho?…..Highly unlikey.
Like Ronaldo, Michael Owen and Andriy Schevchenko, Ronaldinho has just added his name to the long list of players who are struggling to fine their form after a disastrous injury. Take Ronaldo and Owen for example, both players who relied on their pace were never the same players before. Shevchenko has totally lost his scoring touch when we still remember how awesome he was at AC Milan. And this is likely to happen to Ronaldino as well.
Still, for the sake of football, we hope that Ronaldinho will find his form back, as it will be shameful to see another great talent fall to injury.
