Ryan Giggs will always be a legend.

The best left winger in the world and no other player plays like him. While many will still remember the old days of Ryan Giggs mesmerizing run, many of us still hope that Giggs will once in a while shows his magical run, dribble pass all defenders with frightening speed and score great goals with his left foot.

This season though, with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Carlos Tevez and Nani striking success, we just seem to forget how ineffective Ryan Giggs this season. His individual dazzling run has gone, he is unable to beat defenders anymore, but what is more frustrating is that he plays with less conviction; when we used to see him chase player down and win the ball back.

Last season he was playing great, but this year he seemed hardly able to kick a ball. He holds the record of the only player to score in 12 successive Champions League season, and this year he has scored none.

No matter how much i hate to say it, Giggs when in the team, is now a passenger and should call it quit. Still, I believe that Giggs experience is vital and would play against Barcelona in the Champions League semifinal, but with the more energetic Nani waiting in the wing, Sir Alex Ferguson would have a tough time choosing between the wizard or the apprentice.
